Here We Go

Welcome to my new blog. For the past year I've written a blog about going green for TheGreenGuide.com. It was variously called "Alix in Wonderland," "Mommy Greenest," and finally "Green with Children." Now it's called Just Ask Alix.

It won't just be questions, but I'll certainly answer many.

For instance,

Q: Who is the strangest pundit bloviating about the Democratic Convention?

A: It's hard to say. Carl Bernstein is indeed odd-looking--from his wispy halo of hair, with product, to his puffy skin and lips (does he inject?). David Gergen seems so sad. James Carville might be a meth addict. What is he talking about fastballs? Why doesnt that poor man named Pienel on PBS just come up with a new name? Brian Mitchell fake tans.

But I think my favorite windbag has to be Chris Matthews. Why do he and his frat brother Keith Olbermann think we care about their personal stories and how hard they worked to go to college?

Sorry you're leaving the Green Guide. You said they're going in a new direction? What might that be?

I look forward to reading this new blog. Feel free to visit mine...

Oh my....I thought this Ask Alix blog was going to be about "easily going and staying green"....however, I do suspect that alix is a Republican in Sheep's Clothing !
Thanks for coming out of the closet, Alix....I get enough anti-Democrat emails daily. I don't need your blog added to my already overloaded brain !
Sincerely,
A FORMER Fan from Florida

Chris Matthews always looks like he's just gotten in a fender bender and is trying to restrain himself from reaching for his tire iron. Looking forward to the new blog! First question for Alix: in the history of blogs by moms trying to find ways to live more green lives, has there ever been one by a Republican? (Before yours, I mean.)

Are you ever going to post anything in your blog? You haven't had any entries since August 26th. I liked your column on The Green Guide and was looking forward to this blog.
